Snovidjenje (2018)
Snovidjenje is a song cycle by Merima Ključo inspired by Romanian, Croatian, Sephardic and Kosovar traditional music. Scored for contemporary accordion and voice, these are songs of love, passion and desire, but also convey a sarcastic approach to life and death as in the humorous songs “Kletva” (curse) and “Lume”.
Ključo’s conceptual idea is to introduce a new, radical approach to accordion playing, creating a context where modern contemporary music meets traditional song.
